Beschrijving

A full-bodied sake, but goes down smooth. Developed flavors of caramel and nougat. Imagine this one with your own Vol-au-vent or some glazed duck with some juicy paksoi !

The Izumibashi Sake Brewery was founded in 1857, during Japan's Edo era. Nestled in the heart of the Ebina heartland, Izumibashi has long taken advantage of the area's natural bounty, from abundant land for rice growing to the natural waterflow from Mt. Tanazawa. From vibrant, umami-rich sake that elevates the flavors of dishes, to plum wine and liqueurs, miso, soy and more.

At Izumibashi they only make authentic junmai sake's with their own cultivated rice ( Cultivation Brewery ). They use generations-old method based in tradition to bring natural flavors to you.

*A “Cultivation Brewery” is a sake brewery that grows, harvest and mills its own rice for sake making. Such brewers treat sake as an agricultural product, from the growth of the rice to brewing. Izumibashi is a registered Cultivation Brewery (certification number: 5931100).
