Description

Joyo Shuzo has been founded in 1895 and run by the Shimamoto family for four generations, and the sake brewing process has not changed! They are the only brewery located in the Yamashiro region.

During the winter sake is brewed, and during the summer tea leaves are picked locally, engaging in two important facets of Japanese culture.

The second typical pasteurization is carried out carefully by hand, bottle-by-bottle, and then the sake is aged at freezing temperatures to balance flavors and maintain quality.

Joyo 30 has a high polishing grade of 30%, this give a very pure taste with no unpleasant aftertaste. It features a fruity, fresh and elegant finish with a rich sake aroma.
